Russian and English, in the same sentence

If you work in Russian but your tools, tickets and product names are in English, you already know the friction: type a sentence, switch layout for two words, switch back, fix the autocorrect. Dictating removes the switch entirely.

What gets typed

Давай перенесём the design review на четверг — я отправлю the updated roadmap сегодня вечером.

A recorded demonstration. Recognition quality depends on your microphone, your accent and how clearly you speak.

так давай э-э перенесём the design review на четверг и я я отправлю the updated roadmap сегодня вечеромДавай перенесём the design review на четверг — я отправлю the updated roadmap сегодня вечером. (2)

No layout switching

Alt+Shift is not part of this. You say the sentence the way you would say it to a colleague — Russian grammar around English terms — and it arrives written correctly in both.

Punctuation for both languages

Russian and English punctuate differently. Cleanup applies the convention that fits the surrounding text rather than forcing one set of rules onto both.

Names and terms you can fix once

Add colleagues’ names, your company’s products and your stack to the personal dictionary. They stop being transcribed phonetically and start being spelled correctly.
