What 500,000 words a month buys you
Pro includes 500,000 transcribed words per billing month, counted across every device on your account. At an ordinary speaking pace of 150 words a minute that is about 56 hours of talking — around 2.5 hours every working day, month after month.
Very few people come close. The number is published so you can check whether you would, rather than finding out from an email telling you that you have used the product too much.
Your account shows what you have used and what is left, updated as you dictate.
Personal use on up to 2 devices — a desktop and a laptop, say.
If you do reach 500,000 words, dictation pauses until your next billing month starts. Nothing is deleted, you stay signed in, and the rest of your account keeps working.

Meetings and Projects
Meeting capture, live transcripts and translation, AI meeting insights and Projects all work on your Xuula account — you never supply a speech or AI key of your own. Everything spoken counts as words against your plan’s allowance, the same one voice typing uses. Recordings, transcripts, notes and Projects are stored on your PC, so no storage quota applies to them.

One allowance covers all of it. Words are counted once, when they are recognised — asking for a translation or a summary of speech you have already used does not count it again.
Billing, plainly
- Prices are in US dollars. Tax may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page.
- When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s page and never reach our servers.
- Switching between monthly and annual is prorated by Stripe.
Pricing questions
8,000 words every week, with no credit card — at an ordinary speaking pace that is about an hour of dictation. That includes mixed-language dictation, use in any Windows text field, basic cleanup, local dictation history and two authorised devices. The allowance resets weekly on a fixed schedule; your account page shows the exact reset time in your own time zone.
The annual plan is $120, charged once per year. That works out at $10 a month, which is how it compares with the $12 monthly plan — but the charge itself is a single $120 payment, not a monthly one. You save $24 over a year.
Two authorised devices, and the same two on a Pro subscription — a desktop and a laptop, say. Both plans are priced for one person, so the number does not change when you subscribe. You can see and revoke authorised devices from your account settings at any time; a third device replaces one of the first two. The plans are for personal use, not for sharing an account across a team.

If you do reach the limit, dictation pauses until your next billing month begins — nothing is deleted and you stay signed in. A single dictation is capped at 12,000 words so one request cannot spend the lot.
Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted — your dictionary, styles and settings are still there if you come back.
